AI Acceptable-Use & No-Reliance Terms

These terms apply to SectorBoard Intelligence (the optional AI add-on), to the usage-capped AI features available during a free trial, and to the Atlas advisor add-on, and form part of the Terms & Conditions. They cover the daily AI narratives, automatic KPI threshold setting, the interactive “Ask-your-board” feature, and the Atlas advisor — including its overnight briefings, alerts, predictions and conversational answers.

1. No reliance — AI output is informational only

AI-generated output (narratives, suggested thresholds, answers, commentary, and the Atlas advisor’s briefings, findings, predictions and recommendations) is produced by automated models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or misleading. It is provided for information and convenience only and:

• does not constitute financial, investment, accounting, tax, legal or other professional advice;
• is not a recommendation to take or refrain from any action; and
• must be independently verified before you rely on it or make any business decision.

You remain solely responsible for decisions you make. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on AI output; nothing in these terms affects a Consumer’s non-excludable statutory rights or the liability carve-outs in section 17 of the Terms.

2. How the AI works (transparency)

To generate output, relevant KPI values and organisational context are sent to our AI sub-processor Anthropic (United States). We send KPI metrics and context — not raw connector records beyond what is needed. Under Anthropic’s API terms, your inputs are not used to train its models. See the Sub-processor List and Privacy Policy (section 4) for the data-protection detail, including the international-transfer safeguard. The Atlas advisor, when enabled, analyses your KPI data automatically each night to prepare your briefing; like all AI output it is advisory and human-in-the-loop. We do not use AI to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about any individual.

3. Fair use

SectorBoard Intelligence is provided on a fair-use basis for normal business use by a single Organisation. Interactive “Ask-your-board” usage that materially exceeds normal fair use within a billing month may be soft-throttled (slowed) for the remainder of that month; the service is not cut off and full speed resumes next billing period. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you before throttling. Fair-use thresholds may change with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use of the AI features

You must not use the AI features to:

• generate unlawful, infringing, harmful or deceptive content;
• attempt to extract another Organisation’s data, or to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying models or prompts;
• submit data you are not entitled to process, or special category personal data, unless separately agreed; or
• evade fair-use limits through automation or multiple Accounts.

5. No warranty

The AI features are provided “as is”. We do not warrant that output will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. Section 9 (warranties) and section 17 (liability) of the Terms apply.
